Toleah exists because one of us had to turn every shopping trip into research. Today we work so that nobody has to do that research alone.
Mission
We want the thirty percent of people living with a food intolerance to shop calmly again. Not generically. Not moralistically. With a traffic-light that knows what it's doing — because it knows you.
Vision
A world where the question "can I eat this" gets answered in under a second — at the till, while travelling, at a kids' birthday. A world where nutritional care doesn't end at the appointment but works with data the patient shared willingly.
Why we build this
The first version of Toleah grew out of a very practical problem. I, Patrick, live with histamine and fructose intolerance. Every app I tried answered the wrong question. Either "contains lactose yes/no" with no regard to my severity, or a calorie-tracker logic that can't parse intolerance at all. So I started building the app I wished I'd had — and quickly learned I wasn't alone. Today a small team works on Toleah, with the ambition to implement medical guidelines cleanly, without healing promises, without buzzwords, without fake urgency. When we don't know something yet, we say so. When we improve something, we publish the changelog.

We explain how the scoring engine calculates. We name the limits. We don't promise cures.

Health data runs under GDPR Art. 9. Every share is audit-logged and revocable at any time. Account deletion takes under a minute.

A traffic-light is only useful when it matches the person. That's why we score per profile, not per product.

We learn faster when we listen. Early-access feedback feeds straight back into the trigger lists.
